Can sales be measured?
Is it possible to quantify and measure sales? The answer depends on the perception of the sales concept in your organization.
Here is a small test:
Think of any two sales people in your organization.
From your perspective, is it possible to say that one person is a better salesperson than another?
If your answer to the question is: "No, all sales forces are unique and cannot be compared with each other", it is not possible to measure the sales quality in your company.
If, on the other hand, the answer finds distinctions, there are certain parameters that you intuitively use to evaluate these sales forces.
Sales is measurable when sales forces can be compared!
To quantify these parameters and assess the effectiveness of sales forces (at least as they are seen in the respective organization), we have developed statements that are listed below. Go through them and intuitively tick the values that you think best reflect your assessment.
